About UTOA
Who We Are
The United Tribal Organization of Assam (UTOA) is a collective platform representing Indigenous and tribal communities across Assam. Formed to safeguard the rights, identity, and traditional lands of the region’s Indigenous peoples, UTOA works through advocacy, research, and community engagement to ensure that our voices are heard at local, national, and international levels.
We are a proud member of the International Land Coalition (ILC) and the Land Tenure Rights (LTR) Platform Asia, collaborating with global networks committed to land justice and Indigenous rights.
